Modderman Deventer Kruidkoek

Deventer is a city in the Netherlands famed for its particular kind of spiced cake ("kruidkoek"). Modderman's version comes in three layers with a touch of orange added to compliment the warmth of the spices! Usually buttered and served with tea or coffee. Can be served on it's own or covered with butter or cream. Eat it for breakfast, or as a snack.
