Our Zoute Ruiten is the classic among salty licorice. We added just enough sal ammoniac salt for the right kick. The result is a nice salty taste that is not overpowering. In addition to the subtle salt, you also taste a rich, pure licorice flavor. And the bite? It is nice and firm thanks to gum arabic.
